Festival Fare: Food & Drink

A wide range of food and beverage options are available in and around the Lotus World Music & Arts Festival.  Enjoy beer, wine, and snacks inside the big street tents, explore our Food Truck Villages downtown and at Lotus in the Park, or grab-and-go from a vast assortment of local restaurants.  Concessions are also available inside the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.

One-World-Catering BBC

Lotus is pleased to partner with Bloomington Brewing Company, Upland Brewing Company, and One World Catering to provide beer, wine, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages for Festival-goers in the big tents (evenings, Fri/Sat).

  • Pictura Gallery/Old National Bank Tent: Upland Brewing Company, serving Upland Dragonfly IPA, Upland Oktoberfest Bavarian Lager, Upland Easy Chair Amber Ale, and Upland Wheat Ale.
  • Ivy Tech Community College Tent:  Bloomington Brewing Company & One World Catering, serving BBC Kirkwood Cream Ale, BBC Ruby Bloom Amber, BBC Quarrymen Pale Ale, and BBC Rooftop IPA, as well as snacks including popcorn and a variety of sweet bakery treats such as cookies, bars, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Food Truck Villages (Downtown & Lotus in the Park)

Out on the street, the Food Truck Village returns in the evenings on West Kirkwood (between Walnut & College) — curated by Chef David Tallent, this selection of mobile menus offers diverse, on-the-go treats to feed the lively downtown scene.  Open during Festival evening activities, approx. 6:00pm until just before midnight.

At Lotus in the Park, visit our new Food Truck offerings on Lincoln St. near the workshop tent. Food and beverage options available — stop by and sample!  Open from noon to 4:00 pm.

Big Cheeze: We sling up a unique variety of grilled cheese sandwiches and cheesy sides. Big Cheeze logoEasy, Cheezy, Goodness.

$6 Mac Daddy- Grilled cheese made on white bread with cheddar cheese and stuffed with mac & cheese.
$7 Momma Smacker- Grilled Cheese with smoked gouda cheese, BBQ pulled pork and caramelized onions

$3- Premium Homemade Ice Cream- ½ pints available in a variety of flavors. Our premium homemade ice cream is made right here in Bloomington, IN using 14% butterfat (Vegetarian)

~Trinidad Street Roti- Locally harvested roasted zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, butternut and eggplant simmered in a coconut, lime curry. Wrapped in a Roti flatbread with fresh pickled vegetables and a Cucumber Raita and Apricot Chutney. Served with a side of Gypsy Rice. (Vegan)
~Coconut Curried Chicken Trinidad Street Roti- Grilled chicken simmered in a coconut, lime curry, wrapped in a Roti Flatbread with pickled vegetables, Apricot Chutney and Cucumber Raita. Served with a side of Gypsy Rice.
