Watch Lotus Blossoms artist Radha Lakshmi create a stunning, large-scale mandala (kolam) in the main Atrium of the School of Global and International Studies building!  This work of art, based on traditions from Southern India, will come to life over a 3-hour demonstration -- stop by to see the progress, or stay for the entire creative process.

Innovative musicians/dancers with a quirky neo-trad soul, Oakland, California-based Evie Ladin & Keith Terry throw down original folk songs and deep interpretations of old songs, with the kinetic thrill of percussive dance.  Please join us for an intimate house concert during their Lotus Blossoms residency!

Join us for a 'Mandalams' workshop with Lotus Blossoms artist Radha Lakshmi. We will create Mandalams—the combination of a mandala and kolam—using stencils, rice flour, sand, and flower petals. Participants will receive all instructions and materials needed to partake in this creative process focused on mindfulness. No art experience is required.
