Lotus announces search for new Executive Director

As the Lotus Education & Arts Foundation enters its 30th year as a world-class organization dedicated to promoting the diversity of world cultures through music and the arts, the Lotus Board has been examining the new landscape facing performing arts non-profits. Lotus returns to full programming this year, and we are re-organizing to reflect our current needs. To that end, Lotus has decided that resuming the organizational structure used pre-pandemic, with both an Executive Director (ED) and an Artistic Director (AD) on staff, will help ensure Lotus flourishes in its fourth decade. Lotus’ current Executive Director, Tamara Loewenthal, will be transitioning to the position of Artistic Director, and now Lotus seeks a new ED.

The ED will be charged with implementing the overall mission of the organization while the AD will focus on developing impactful programming. We now have set our sights on hiring a new ED with a Hiring Committee comprised of Lotus stakeholders. Lotus is fortunate to have Tamara’s support for the re-organization and her presence to orient and onboard the new ED. Our community has always been extremely supportive and has repeatedly shown its commitment over the past few challenging years. Now, we ask you to spread the word about our need for a new Executive Director. You can find the job listing on our website’s Jobs/Internships page.

Thank you for your continued support!
