World Premiere: They Still Want To Kill Us

On May 25th, 2021, the Lotus Education & Arts Foundation, in conjunction with arts organizations from around the country, presented the world premiere of “They Still Want to Kill Us,” an uncensored aria performed and composed by Daniel Bernard Roumain, featuring mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges and directed by multimedia artist Yoram Savion, commemorating the centennial of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre and marking one year since the murder of George Floyd.
