Radha Lakshmi
Radha Lakshmi is an interdisciplinary artist whose work draws on the women’s ritual and folkloric arts of her native Southern India, as well as other aboriginal traditions. She is an expert in the art of kolam, a traditional Indian form that incorporates mythology and symbols of Southern India: it is both a form of artistic expression and a form of devotion and meditation. On Saturday, Radha will conduct a kolam workshop at Lotus in the Park and then demonstrate Indian kolam in the Arts Village.
Saturday, Sept. 20
