The 9th Annual Percussive Dance Extravaganza: We Are Family brings together a top-notch group that has found firm footing in its work over the past few years.   The dancers, led by Bloomington’s own Tamara Loewenthal, will perform some exciting new works, along with old favorites, with a group whose ages span seven decades.  This year’s theme is family, reflecting nines on many fronts:  the number of people in Tamara’s family of origin; the numbers reflecting Jamie and Tamara’s wedding celebration; and the number of dancers who have worked consistently in the past year to bring several new works to fruition.  We are also excited to work with a stellar group of musicians who have become family to us.   Click for more details!
