Lotus NAP Credits – STILL AVAILABLE for 2017

Lotus is participating in the popular Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP), and we are pleased to extend this tax-saving opportunity to you.  Through NAP, a donation to Lotus makes a donor eligible to receive 50% of the total donation (i.e. $100 of a $200 donation) back as a tax credit when filing an end-of-year Indiana tax return.  Donors are also eligible to claim the total amount of the gift as a tax deduction on an itemized federal income tax return.

All Lotus NAP contributions will benefit Lotus’s educational outreach efforts. Earlier this year, our Lotus Blossoms program brought outstanding artist-educators to 27 schools in six counties across Southern Indiana, alongside 8 public events for the community, taking over 10,000 students and participants on cultural journeys through Iraq, China, Mexico, Uganda, and beyond.  During the Festival weekend, Lotus will provide 40+ hours of free programming, much of it targeted to children and youth.
