Join us in welcoming new families to our community by contributing to our April Resource Drive for Exodus Refugee. Your donations help provide essential everyday items to refugee families as they settle into life in the Bloomington area. Even small contributions can make a meaningful difference in helping families feel safe, supported, and at home.

Where to Drop Off Donations

Donations can be dropped off:

• At any of our public events in April
• At the Lotus Firebay
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM *Unless there is a conflicting lotus event.
  • Thursdays: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Items Currently Needed

Toiletry Items (new only):

• Shampoo / Conditioner
• Hand Soap
• Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
• Deodorant
• Razors
• Toilet Paper
• Sanitary Napkins

Household Food Staples:

• Dry Beans (pinto or black)
• Rice
• Masa Flour
• Salt
• Oil
• Fufu

Gift Cards:

• Grocery stores (Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, etc.)
• Uber or Lyft

Items We Cannot Accept

To ensure safety and storage capacity, the following items cannot be accepted:

• Used beds, mattresses, car seats, cribs, or pack & plays
• Clothing (except outerwear)
• Desks or shelves (including bookshelves)
