Lotus Lantern Workshop
Help bring the Lotus Festival to life by creating a flower that will bloom under the night sky!
Join us for a free, hands-on workshop where you’ll craft cardboard flower petals and help build our towering 11-foot illuminated flower lanterns. Cut your own unique petals or choose from pre-cut designs, then add your creativity to a one-of-a-kind community art installation that will glow throughout the evenings of the Lotus World Music & Arts Festival.
Every participant will be recognized in the official Lotus Festival Program, and when the festival arrives, you’ll be able to point to the lanterns and say, “I helped create that.”
This workshop is free and open to all ages and skill levels. Donations are appreciated and will help us purchase materials to bring these giant blooms to life. RSVP today or stop by Friday August 7th!
