A full afternoon of performances, workshops, and hands-on fun for the whole family!  Bring your lawnchair or blanket and enjoy the festivities.  Lotus in the Park is free and open to the public, thanks to the generous support of Lotus sponsors, donors, and grantors.

On the MAIN STAGE

*In partnership with BloomingSongs and featuring students from Fairview, Templeton, and University schools. Grace Na is a choral music educator, arranger, accompanist and graduate from IU Jacobs School of Music with a Master of Music Education degree, emphasizing in general and choral music. She is currently a choir accompanist at Clay Middle School in Carmel, IN and involved with multiple projects  introducing Korean folk music to young singers and educators. Eunsun “Sunny” Jung is an award-winning Gayageum player. She has performed in France, Belgium, Germany, the U.K., Japan, and the U.S. In the U.S., she has performed at the Kennedy Center in D.C., the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Symphony Space in New York City.

ART CAMP ARTIST WORKSHOP

PAPEL PICADO WORKSHOP WITH VISUAL ARTIST BEATRIZ VASQUEZ

Meet with Mexican-American artist Beatriz Vasquez and make your own beautiful Monarch butterfly papel picado piece of art and luminaria! All materials and supplies provided.

COMPOSTING 

EarthKeepers Compost, formerly Green Camino, is hosting the 1st EVER on-site composting at Lotus in the Park. This is an effort to build a more sustainable Festival and community. Be part of developing our composting culture at Lotus and stop by their station for all your trash/recycling/composting needs!

FOOD AT LOTUS IN THE PARK

Located on Lincoln Street near the park playground. Cash and credit cards accepted.  Vegetarian and meat options available.

  • The Chocolate Moose:  Ice Cream (variety of homemade ice cream flavors including vegan options). Beverages, including bottled water, natural sodas, Teavana tea, and more!
  • Döner Kebab: Gyros, quesadillas, falafel, and more. Coke Products.
  • Limestone BBQPulled Pork sandwiches, vegan BBQ, fries, coleslaw, mac-n-cheese, and more.
  • Pili’s Party Taco:  Burros / Burritos, tacos, tortas (Mexican sandwich), nachos, elotes (Grilled Mexican Corn), gringas (Flour tortilla filled with cheese, al pastor (meat), and pineapple; grilled like a quesadilla.
  • Swakin Stir Fry: Stir fry, falafel, shawama (meat), and more. Pepsi products and hibiscus juice.
