This year we are partnering with the Monroe County Library to bring you an enjoyable afternoon filled with free art and cultural activities and family fun including interactive visual arts activities and local music on the streets of downtown Bloomington. Join us inside the library and on the street for an experience you can’t miss!
Discover more music at the 6th street tent on Saturday afternoon with performances by Lotus artists. Ticket at wristband will be required. Kids 12 and under are free!
Record a Lotus memoir in a large group “matchbook” and in your own miniature book at the Seeds of Memory / Matchbook Memoir activity station on Festival Saturday during Lotus at the Library. All ages welcome!

About Little Mountain Bindery
At Fayetteville, Arkansas -based Little Mountain Bindery, Lesha Shaver specializes in custom book binding, repair, and restoration; in book arts workshops; and in producing Fillions, a high-quality refillable notebook system. Lesha designed the Matchbook Memoir Projectf “based on the idea that we can develop community by sharing our stories with one another in anonymous-optional yet public format: a miniature book that looks like a matchbook.” The 2025 Lotus World Music and Arts Festival is hosting Matchbook Memoir sessions as part of is ongoing Seeds of Memory collective history project.
