Swing Time Big Band

Bloomington’s Swing Time Big Band is a 17-piece jazz ensemble with vocals.  Formed in 2015 by band leader Jerry Jerome, the ensemble is now led by Hank Wintczak, former Director of Bands at Mitchell High School, and Elvin DeBruiker, a Music Education major at Indiana University. Its mission: to keep classic Big Band Swing Music of the 1930s and ’40s alive and swinging in Bloomington.
