This “pure party machine” originated in the famed Bazurto Market in the heart of Cartagena, Colombia in 2009 – immersed in the colors and sounds of African and Caribbean culture. Their dynamic performances showcase the Afro-Colombian genre of music and dance called champeta, along with generous doses of Brazilian funk and pop. The group proudly represents the Afro-Caribbean culture of Cartagena, Bolivar, and the Colombian north coast.
