Stay up-to-date with the latest on Lotus’s new facility! In late 2015, Lotus acquired a permanent home at 105 S. Rogers St. (an old firehouse built in 1955). Fundraising and renovations will be ongoing, in support of transforming this building into an exciting new multicultural arts venue for Bloomington. At this time, there is no firm date for a grand opening, but we’ll be sure to keep everyone posted.
This semester, Lotus is excited to be working with IU and Ivy Tech classes on two “service-learning” projects related to our new facility. Benjamin Moore “White Blush” paint, that is. Volunteer painters LuAnne Holladay, Bill Holladay, and Kevin Bird are giving the office space in our new facility a face-lift before we move in. They’re hard at work with rollers, brushes, tape….and of course, an assortment of Lotus tunes in the CD player!
