The 24th annual Lotus World Music and Arts Festival returns to the heart of Bloomington, Indiana on September 28-October 1, 2017, filling the downtown streets once again with its eclectic blend of global sound and spectacle.

For more than two decades, the non-profit Lotus Education and Arts Foundation has transformed downtown Bloomington into an exuberant world of music for one blissful, boisterous September weekend, in addition to providing a full range of multicultural music and art programming throughout the year. The Festival features a mix of ticketed evening events and plenty of free programming for the entire family to enjoy.

From outdoor dance tents to contemplative church venues and historic theaters, and from the kid-friendly Lotus in the Park to art exhibitions and a swirling street scene, the Lotus vibe is one of exuberant energy, vivid colors, and delectably diverse soundscapes.
